In the historical center of Moscow, where the capital park “Zaryadie” is situated since September 2017, the clothes collection of fashion house Firdaws was shown. It was led by Ramzan Kadyrov’s daughter Aishat. The fashion show “Mountain Pearl” took place within the framework of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia. 47 dresses were presented there. Both design and décor of the models reflected a “bias into Muslim stylistics” which remained popular for the last few years among the fashion world. Significantly, a lot of representatives of Moscow “glamorous party” have already commented on this collection and said it was a kind of “lesson of luxurious modesty given to Russia by Chechnya” and promised to “cover their cleavages and dress like Chechen women”.
Culturologists note that on one hand, Aishat Kadyrova’s show reflects the world trend, although a bit late (in Europe the fashion for the Muslim stylistics is already subsiding), but on the other hand, it isn’t only cultural, but in some way political and social event, which marks the transition of the well-known “global Chechen migration to Moscow” in to the other format: from the “male aggressive type” to “female” – the territory is already conquered.
